Discover how Flotiq’s headless CMS supports mobile app development by managing translations, market data, and large-scale content delivery. The Ploom App was developed by Accenture Song, in close collaboration with the Flotiq technical success team.

About the Client

Japan Tobacco International (JTI) is the owner of the Ploom brand, a line of tobacco-heating devices. Among them is Ploom AURA, which heats rather than burns tobacco. The device works together with the Ploom App, which adds functions such as heating modes, device tracking, and real-time status updates.

The Ploom brand is available globally, across markets with different languages and regulatory requirements. This creates the need for efficient multilingual content management and localization within the mobile app.
