Real-Time Collaboration, OAuth2.1 MCP Login, Space Purge & More

Flotiq's latest update brings real-time collaborative editing, OAuth2.1 MCP authentication with space-level access control, and a new space purge endpoint — plus core plugin migrations and more accurate object duplication.

What's New? Features

1. Real-time collaborative editing

What has been done?

When two users edit the same content object at the same time, fields being edited by one user are now locked for others.

What does it mean for the user?

No more silent overwrites — you see a conflict before it happens instead of losing changes when someone else saves after you.

2. Backend email translations

What has been done?

Backend-triggered emails now support translation based on the recipient's language.

What does it mean for the user?

You receive system emails in your own language instead of a single default one.

3. Slugs, Custom Links, and Content Preview moved to core

What has been done?

These three plugins have been migrated from the marketplace directly into Flotiq core.

What does it mean for the user?

No installation needed — the features are available in every space right away. Slug generation also now works through the API, not just the Dashboard.

4. OAuth2.1 space selection at login

What has been done?

When connecting an MCP client to Flotiq, users can now choose a specific space to authorize during login.

What does it mean for the user?

Your MCP tools and AI integrations get access only to the space you explicitly select, not your entire account.

5. OAuth login moved to the frontend

What has been done?

The OAuth login flow — including authorization for MCP — now runs directly on the Flotiq frontend instead of redirecting elsewhere.

What does it mean for the user?

You see the same familiar login screen as in the editor when authorizing MCP clients, for a more consistent experience.

6. Space purge endpoint

What has been done?

A new backend endpoint lets you purge all objects, media, and content types from a space.

What does it mean for the user?

You can reset a space to a clean state without deleting and recreating it.

7. Faster, more accurate object duplication

What has been done?

Object duplication on the frontend has been reworked for correctness.

What does it mean for the user?

Duplicated objects now match your intent, with no need to manually fix relations afterward.
